A kind word can really lift your spirits.  An unkind word?  Not so much.  Books transport us into other worlds and times.  Songs and poems become old friends.  We’ve all experienced the power of words.  Not only do they help us understand other people and the world around us, but they help us express ourselves.

In this class you will experience words through books and poems and have the chance to use words to express yourself creatively.
