Kamilah Whitfield, joined eQuality in October 2019 as a job coach at Courtyard in Maple Grove. Kamilah started at Savvi Formal wear as an assistant manager and certified wedding consultant. Kamilah also worked at Le Courage Staffing LLC as a direct support professional. For as long as Kamilah can remember she have been trying to help other people and to lend her voice to those who have not been able to voice their concerns. Kamilah have worked with people with mental and physical disabilities to develop basic coping skills to be functional in society. Kamilah want to be able to advocate for fairness in the policies regarding laws, the economy and housing across the board for people that are being left behind. Also being able to work within the communities to assist with bringing change, skills and financial growth.
Kamilah beliefs consist of being accepting of others, she states “I do not judge others for not having the same beliefs, or values that I have. I also value others’ culture, race, gender and circumstances.
In Kamilah spear time she likes doing make-up, going to the movies, riding scooters, dirt bike riding or you can catch her at the Quarries in St. Could.
