Greg started with eQuality - Pathways to Potential on it’s very first day of existence, April 28th, 1998. He is jointly responsible for managing all aspects of eQuality including the financials, program operation and vision. Greg received a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations/Non-Profit Management from the University of Indianapolis. Greg likes working at eQuality because he can invest personal creativity into the programs and services offered. “It is a great feeling to observe our Associates and reflect on their individual growth since joining our program.” Greg has been married to Allain Hankey since 1978. Greg and Allain have lived on Lake Sarah for almost 23 years. Greg is an artist as an avocation and loves music, traveling and University of Minnesota sports.
Mona Patterson (Executive Vice President)
Mona worked with Greg and Joan to start up eQuality. She participated as a board member and then joined eQuality full time in February of 2002. Mona’s title is Executive Vice President of eQuality. She jointly oversees all operations, staff, mission and planning for eQuality. Mona graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and did graduate work in education at the University of St. Thomas. She has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities and non-profits for over 20 years. Mona enjoys working for eQuality because she loves to see the Associates really taking part in their communities. “I love to work with such a dedicated group of professionals as eQuality’s Job Coaches and Coordinators.” Mona lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two daughters and a dog. In her spare time, she loves to travel, hike, canoe, watch her girls play sports, read, listen to music and garden.
Cindy Cunnien (Program Coordinator)
Cindy started with eQuality - Pathways to Potential in September of 2000. She is a case manager, in charge of transportation and supervises five enclave sites. Cindy has been working in the field since 1989. She has extensive experience working in group homes as well as being a group home supervisor. Cindy started job coaching at eQuality and since has done most every job that has been offered as the company has grown. She enjoys working with eQuality because of the Associates and their team members. She feels she has built some great relationships over the years. Cindy enjoys reading and taking vacations. She lives in Ham Lake with her husband. Cindy has two children, one grandchild and two great dogs!
David Gray (Program Coordinator)
David started with eQuality in May of 2005. He is responsible for developing jobs for eQuality Associates working in enclaves as well as Associates who work independently. David is the Project Coordinator for eQuality Farms and also the supervisor for AaCron (an eQuality job site). David has many years of experience in the field including job coaching, case management and working with District #287’s Transition programs. David likes working with eQuality because “of its unique community based structure, one in which allows us as staff to work alongside the eQuality Associates on a regular basis”. In his spare time, he enjoys “spending time with my family and taking advantage of all the great things South Minneapolis has to offer such as the dog parks, lakes, bike trails and local food”. David lives in Minneapolis with his wife Beth, their daughter Elsie and son Jack.
Sam Ofulue (Program Coordinator)
Sam started with eQuality - Pathways to Potential in March of 2005. He began as a Job Coach and was promoted to Program Coordinator. Sam is responsible for oversight of all of the Lifetime Fitness Clubs and the Holiday Inn as well as handling case management. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and a Master of Arts in General Educational Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Sam enjoys working at eQuality “because of the style of leadership by those in charge of the organization. They create an environment where staff can succeed and are very concerned and interested in the well being of staff.” Sam likes to see the world, read, watch and listen to the news and documentaries and loves to play and watch soccer. He is married and so far has three beautiful children.
Carlie LaBree (Program Coordinator)
Carlie LaBree started with eQuality in October of 2004. She is responsible for case management, supervision of independent Associates, Department of Labor standards, Travel Club and events. Carlie has experience in the field by working at the division of Children, Family and Welfare Services, studying abroad at Beijing University and teaching English in China through the Peace Corp. Carlie has a Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies and International Relations with a minor in Political Science from Gonzaga University. She really likes working at eQuality because of the Associates. “No matter how rough, busy or bad a work day has been, as soon as I get to be around the Associates my day seems to automatically morph into a great day! My Associates have the ability to transform my attitude and mood instantaneously just by their presence.” Carlie enjoys reading, traveling, movies, curling, different languages and cultures and being up at the cabin in the summer months. Carlie lives in Crystal with her partner Scott, yellow lab Spike and two kitties; Flip and Whitey.
Joan Keprios (Program Coordinator)
Joan participated in the development of eQuality - Pathways to Potential and was on its Board of Directors until 2004. In 2008, Joan took a more hands on role by becoming a Coordinator. She does case management and is the site supervisor for the Jewish Community Center and Barry Family Campus. Joan has 25 years experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities. She has done residential, vocational and recreational work. Joan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services. Joan likes working with eQuality “because of the opportunities I can create for the Associates”. In her spare time, Joan enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exploring, hiking, cross-country skiing, visiting museums and cooking. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and 12-year old son.
David Freeman (Program Coordinator)
David studied Psychology and Philosophy at Hamline University in St. Paul as well as the University of Minnesota. He completed his first internship in 1983 at the Brainerd State Hospital and has worked in the human services field ever since. David started working with eQuality in September of 2009. He began as a Job Coach at the Crosstown Lifetime Fitness and moved into the Program Coordinator position to supervise the Lifetime Fitness Clubs. David eventually became the Coverage Lead Coordinator. He also maintains the eQuality fleet of vehicles and manages a caseload of eQuality associates, which is his favorite part of the job.
David has a wonderful wife and two brilliant, beautiful girls and spends his time away from work with them.
