Support

Integrated Work Teams

Teams of various sizes work together to meet the needs of an employer. An on-site Job Coach customizes supervision to meet the individualized needs of team members. All work environments are based in community businesses, where eQuality associates connect with customers and coworkers. Many associates enjoy working as part of a team because of the support and camaraderie they share with their peers.

This model is contracted employment in which we meet the needs of the employer for an agreed upon dollar amount. eQuality—Pathways to Potential acts as a contracted service provider. As such, eQuality handles all payroll responsibilities for our associates, including payroll tax and worker’s compensation insurance. eQuality provides a certificate of liability insurance to the employer upon request.

Integrated, Competitive Placement
Many eQuality associates work independently in a competitive environment, hired directly through various places of employment. eQuality staff members perform exploration activities, an assessment process with the associate, and assist in job search and resume building. We work to assure that the associate is ready for competitive employment and is qualified for the type of work that he or she seeks. Work preparation and training may include training in “soft” skills such as time management, attitude, and attendance. eQuality staff is a part of the original interview as well as the orientation and training processes. We provide ongoing support by having open communication with the employer and we perform regular check-ins with the associate as needed. While seeking employment for an individual that we feel is ready for competitive employment, eQuality staff members work to assure that the placement is appropriate and is a benefit to both parties.

Vocational Rehabilitation
Minnesota Vocational Rehabilitation Services offer individuals a wide variety of counseling, training, job skills and job placement services. They help individuals of all abilities get the training or other services they need to return to work, to enter a new line of work, or to enter the workforce for the first time. The services VRS provide are carefully chosen to match each individual’s needs. The individual is partnered with a VRS counselor who works closely with the individual to set goals and develop a plan to reach those goals.
