It was the final eQuality explorers’ adventure of the 2012 season and nine blurry-eyed and excited Associates arrived bright and early at the Minneapolis airport at 6:15am on Monday, October 29th. Our Disney World journey was off to a great start- the plane wasn’t even half full, so we all got to stretch out and relax. This trip marked a first for several eQuality Associates: first plane rides, first time to Florida, and first time on an eQuality eXplorers Trip!

Our Terra Verde house was beautiful, spacious and several Associates loved that they could have their very own room. This year we made sure to have our pool and hot-tub heated, so it was tough to get people out of the water. The weather only got better as the week went on and by Thursday we were basking in the sun by the pool and ocean in 80 degree weather.

We did the rounds of Disney Parks, hitting up Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and, of course, the one and only Magic Kingdom. Some Associates even chose to take a quick jaunt to Cocoa Beach so they could walk in the ocean and collect shells. Boy, did they find shells! Thanks to “Hurricane Sandy”, there were hundreds of large and unique shells littering the beach. Mickey, Minnie, and all their friends at Magic Kingdom even threw us an awesome ‘good-bye’ party on our last night. We saw the magnificent ‘electric parade’ where everything is all lit up while the rest of the park is dark. Then, just before the park closed at 10 p.m. we had to head home, we witnessed the coolest fireworks display. The colors and types of fireworks were set to Disney stories and music, all while the castle glowed in the background.
