When the eQuality Travel Club eXplorers/Associates of the 2012 Lake Petenwell/WI Dells trip were asked to describe their vacation in one word, they managed to capture it perfectly… Relaxing! The four hour road trip to Lake Petenwell in Necedah, WI flew by and in no time we found ourselves at our beautiful and spacious lakefront condo, Shoreline Timbers. Although the week was wonderfully relaxing, we still managed to pack if full of a ton of fun. The group basked in the sun and spent time swimming in the lake. Then, when the sun went down, we had a blast at our “nightly dance parties” after dinner. We hit up the Juneau County Fair and cheered for the bull-riders, cowboys, and bison at the rodeo.
The Mt. Olympus water and theme park was full of never-ending entertainment: wave pools, lazy rivers, water slides and even rollercoasters and speedy go-karts! Of course, we couldn’t possibly pass up the chance to check out the infamous Original Wisconsin Ducks boat ride. The competition got fierce at Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf where each one of us managed to get a hole-in-one! We were sad to leave our summer getaway at the end of the week, but we also couldn’t wait to show off our tans to our friends and family back home.
