Day 3 and 4 (September 20 and 21 2012)

We woke up to the beautiful California sunshine and headed straight to our second destination – California Adventure. We stopped for a quick lunch at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe where we caught a quick glimpse of Goofy being a goofball. We had no time to spare so after a hearty breakfast we headed straight to Cars Land. If you are Cars movie fanatic, you’ll love this place as it was reminiscent of Radiator Springs. We took a quick ride on Luigi’s Flying Tires and headed towards Radiator Springs Racers. Due to a huge waiting time, we got a fastpass for a later time and headed towards Paradise Pier. This is what we had been waiting for, the super fast rollercoaster – California Screamin’. We strapped ourselves up real tight, let our hands on the air, and zoomed through the tracks in no time. By the time we got off, we wanted more. However, we are a busy traveler so we headed towards Toy Story Midway Mania which was a 4D ride and aim game. We also rode King Triton’s Carousel and stopped for lunch at Pacific Wharf. We headed back to Cars Land for the Cars Race Track which took us through Radiation Springs and a super fast race. After the race, we decided to call it a day at the park to return to the hotel for a refreshing dip in the pool and shopping.

Downtown Disney had just started to light up when we got there, we jumped in store after store and helped each other pick their souvenirs and gifts. There were a million disney characters to choose from, but after looking at each single piece, we got what we wanted and headed back to the hotel. The plan for dinner was pizza party. We each ordered our favorite pizza and ate in our hotel room and chatted about the entire trip. We had an early flight in the morning so we went to bed a little early. Though we wanted to stay more, we were all excited to head back home. We had our breakfast in the plane from Orange County to Denver. After a quick lunch at Denver, we did more shopping before catching our plane back home. Disneyland was an amazing trip and we had a few first-timers too. We waved each other good-bye with stories to tell of our first adventure in California!
